Air Duct System Cleaning

Air Duct System Cleaning

SERVICE OVERVIEW

Did you know?

96% of homes in the United States have an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) problem of some sort.

Air Duct System Cleaning is an aspect of air quality that is essential to the health of the home, but is often overlooked.  If your HVAC system, ducts and vents are harboring dust, debris, and mold spores, it can wreak havoc on your allergies and possibly affect your health. We highly recommend clearing out the dust yearly, upgrading to HEPA filtration with MERV 8 or better, and maintaining your HVAC system regularly.

POPULAR QUESTIONS

Cleaning the dust out of the ducts in your home is a great start, however, if not done correctly when mold or fungal growth is present, the actual cleaning process can worsen your health conditions. Mold spores and their toxins are easily agitated by an untrained technician’s brush and will become airborne …and then are blown all over the home.

Our licensed professionals are highly trained to deal with mold and we take extra precautions to make sure the job is done correctly and that your health is considered as our top priority.

We will even perform before and after mold testing when combined with our complete all-natural sanitizing BioSanitation Process.

DO NOT have your air ducts cleaned if you suspect that you have mold. You need to test and see what type of fungal growth is present. Air testing also gives quantifiable results.  You can call us out for a visual inspection or order a DIY Mold Kit

If you are moving in to a new home that was previously loved by someone else, it is always a good idea to have the ducts cleaned. We also highly recommend clearing out the dust yearly, upgrading to HEPA filtration with MERV 8 or better, and maintaining your HVAC system regularly.

Although duct cleaning does remove the dust and debris, it does not completely eliminate bacteria, fungal contamination or viruses. It also does not break down the chemical residue from smoke or odors from cooking (without adding harsh chemicals)

We recommend our proven all-natural BioSanitation process to remove smoke and odors completely from the home and duct work.
