Allergen & Indoor Air Quality Testing
What you don’t know about the air in your home could hurt you and your family.
There are serious health risks with repeated and prolonged exposure to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and toxins from Mold. These risks are elevated for individuals already suffering from chronic respiratory illnesses such as asthma, allergies, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Some VOCs are considered Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and have been linked to cancer. Our homes are supposed to be our safe-havens – not places where we and our families are put at risk.
Our team of experts offer the most comprehensive and reliable testing available. We make it easy to get an affordable and detailed read on the air you breathe. We have been the most trusted air quality testing and mold assessment company in the DFW metroplex since 2013.
Why get your home’s air checked?
- According to the Environmental Protection Agency, indoor air quality is a greater health hazard than outdoor air pollution with pollutants being up to 100 times higher indoors.
- Chemicals emitted by common products can cause irritation, breathing trouble, and even illness.
- The new extremely energy efficient and tightly sealed homes have 200% more allergens.
- It’s estimated that 98% of homes in America have mold growth somewhere in the home. Significant growth has been found in 45% of homes.
In a nut shell – the type of mold matters! Have you been experiencing illness, respiratory issues, allergies, asthma or just been feeling really lethargic or have constant headaches? Most doctors are not looking for fungal infections when you go in with generic aches and pains or flu-like symptoms. Yet, 95% of chronic sinusitis cases are actually caused by … you guessed it, MOLD!
There are 100,000 different types of mold. Some are allergenic, and others are very toxic, and it’s extremely helpful to know what type of mold you are dealing with and how much is present. Your doctor will want to know the types of mold, how much is there and the length of your exposure.
Every situation that we see has a unique set of components or factors that affect the overall health of the home and ultimately the family.
We have been identifying poor indoor air quality problems for years and because we know what things to look for, we will have a range of solutions, so you can choose what best suits your family and budget.
Basic IAQ Reports and Mold Assessment Reports w/ the Protocol can take up to 24-48 hours. This is primarily because the samples taken are processed by a third party Nationally Accredited Laboratory.
Off-gassing Reports or Full VOC Reports can take up to 4-5 business days because the third party Nationally Accredited Laboratory analyzes 100’s of chemicals which can take a little longer.
Toxic molds produce an extremely dangerous chemical called “mycotoxin” as they grow, which they use to kill everything in their path, so the mold can survive. Even inhaling small or trace amounts of mycotoxins will suppress your immune system and can contribute or cause very serious or even life-threatening conditions. Mycotoxin testing (in both the person and in the environment) can diagnose mycotoxicosis and is a good idea if a serious health condition is suspected to be caused by toxic mold. Our experts can tell you more – and work with your doctor.

High levels of VOCs can lead to respiratory irritation, mental confusion, headaches, lethargy, or worse, and can exacerbate existing medical conditions such as asthma.
Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen (cancer causing agent). Testing is necessary to detect potentially toxic levels. The off-gassing from new carpet and flooring, pressed wood and particle board, building materials and other unsuspected sources may pose a serious health risks. New or newly remodeled homes should be tested for formaldehyde.
